Basic Confectionery Candle
In this Lesson, we will make a Confectionary candle.
Whipped cream, pastry bag
What will we need for this?
1) First of all, everything that we have already used, all the ingredients for a container candle - container wax, thermometer, wooden or cotton wick, I will use cotton, fragrance, and so on
2) A spoon
3) From the new one, it's a cappuccino machine or a mixer. I will use a cappuccino machine, since the volume of wax will be small, only for one candle. If you plan to make several candles at once, it is better to take a mixer and a large container.
4) A pastry bag, attachments to it and any plastic card
5) A free glass tumbler. It will be required for whipping wax. You can also use disposable cups, but you don't reuse them, and when the wax hardens on the walls, it will be difficult to get it out, and the glass can be put in hot water and the wax melts, you can reuse it.
6) Silicone mold for chocolates
The wax has cooled down, look at its consistency. After that, we start whipping it with a cappuccino machine. In the process, you can see that the wax is not whipped to a cream state. In this case, your army needs to cool down a little more, and then continue whipping. It should be beaten to about such a consistency that the wax does not flow, but it is not very tight and firm, so that we can make a candle before the wax hardens completely.
According to the list, that's it, let's move on to making.
As usual, we fill the candle, but this time we leave room for decoration. I filled the candle in advance, so we immediately proceed to the most interesting part - the decoration.
We fill them using the technology of casting molded candles using dye. For small shapes, it is convenient to use a pipette. Filled in, leave to freeze.
When we've whipped up the wax, we spoon everything into a pastry bag.
Now we begin to squeeze the wax into the glass in a spiral, moving upward. When we've made the top, we can decorate it with decorations, in my case chocolates. Carefully insert them into the wax structure. The candle is ready!
After pouring the candle, I have wax left, it needs to be heated again and left to solidify.
It is important to wait for a certain consistency of wax, because if you whip it at higher temperatures, nothing will work. The wax will not take on the condition of a cream, so we take our time and wait for it to cool down.
First we prepare the chocolates.
