a) Making the egg-shaped base
- Measure the required amount of wax on a scale
- Add white colorant
- Melt the wax in a wax melter or water bath to a temperature of 80-85°C
- While the wax is melting, cut the wick to the needed length (leave extra at the top) and thread it through the center of the mold using a needle
- Heat the mold with a hair dryer
- Pour the melted wax into the mold, securing the wick with a wick holder (don't fill to the edges)
- Once the wax has slightly solidified, cut the wick and add more wax to hide the wick end
- Leave the candle to cool completely, then remove it from the mold
b) Decoration
- Cut out your preferred elements from paper (if you're using transfer paper)
- Use water to moisten the paper layer and attach the element to the candle
- Remove the paper layer with a napkin so that only the part with the image remains on the candle; if necessary, smooth the image using a napkin and your fingers
- If you're using ready-made transfer tattoos or nail stickers, follow the instructions that come with them
c) Lacquer coating
- After some time, pour lacquer into a cup and dip the candle in it; this action can be done 2-3 times
- (If necessary, if you feel the candle doesn't have enough shine, you can repeat this procedure after several hours)
- Blot the bottom of the candle to avoid drips and hang it with a clothespin to dry (approximately for a day or at least overnight); after 30-60 minutes of drying, blot the bottom again.
